Common Name: 'Ornamental rhubarb'

(R. kialense x R. palmatum). A robust clump-forming perennial. This is small-growing variety with heart-shaped leaves that show their pink backs and tall panicles of soft pink flowers in early summer. Jun-Jul. H90cm S75cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in moist, humus-rich soil in full sun or partial shade. Mulch with well-rotted farmyard manure in autumn or spring.
