Paeonia officinalis 'Rosea Plena'

AGM. This lovely, old fashioned, clump-forming, cottage garden perennial with double pink flowers is easy to grow and very long lived. It flowers slightly earlier and is slightly neater-growing than P. lactiflora hybrids. May. H60cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best planted in full sun or very light shade and a good, rich, deep soil with the crowns no deeper than 2.5cm (1'') below the surface. It makes a good cut flower and the foliage is also useful for flower arranging, particularly in the autumn when it turns a glorious, deep, ruby-red.
