A clump-forming perennial with palmate, mid-green leaves and dense, upright spikes of blue, pea-like flowers with white standards that are sometimes streaked with purple opening from the base of the flower. Jun-Jul. H100cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in sun or partial shade and moderately fertile, light, slightly acid to neutral, well-drained soil. Likes sandy soils. May need staking. A popular cottage garden perennial.
