Synonym(s): Imperata cylindrica 'Red Baron' Common Name: 'Japanese blood grass'One of the most colourful grasses. Upright, yellowish-green leaves, which are stained blood-red from the tip particularly in the autumn. Forms slow spreading, loose clumps with narrow silvery flower panicles in late summer. Jul-Aug.
