Epilobium angustifolium 'Album'

Synonym(s): Chamaenerion angustifolium 'Album' Common Name: 'White rosebay willowherb'

The white-flowered form of the familiar 'willowherb' with spires of beautiful, pure white flowers, followed by attractive, fluffy seed heads. Jun-Sep. H100-150cm S250cm.

Care Instructions

Tolerant of most conditions, but prefers moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in partial shade. It only gently self-seeds with us but the plant itself can be vigorous when suitably placed so only use it where you are happy to let it spread. Excellent for naturalizing and useful for difficult areas. Valuable vertical structure for the summer border.

Plant No: 636
