Cyclamen coum

Common Name: 'Eastern cyclamen'

AGM. A superb hardy, winter flowering plant that has little flowers in shades of pink or white, with reflexed petals and dark green, kidney-shaped leaves often patterned with silver. Feb-Mar. H5cm S10cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in part shade in any moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil, avoiding excessive summer moisture. Ideal for naturalising under trees, on banks or in a shady border and planted in association with other early-flowering woodland plants such as snowdrops, winter aconites and primroses.
