Crocosmia 'Star of the East'

Synonym(s): Crocosmia × crocosmiiflora 'Star of the East' Common Name: 'Montbretia'

AGM. A very showy form, which sells on sight at our nursery. Froming clumps of narrow leaves, it is slightly later in to flower than most other Crocosmias. It has large, open, outward facing, mandarin-orange flowers with paler throats and flushed tips, Aug-Oct. H60cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in moderately fertile, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade. Lift and divide congested clumps in spring to maintain vigour.
