Synonym(s): Bergenia 'Evening Glow' Common Name: 'Elephant's ears'

Spikes of vivid magenta flowers are produced in spring on relatively short stems. The evergreen, mid-green leaves are often tinted red, especially in winter when they can turn a rich maroon. Apr-May. H30cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade. Dislikes hot, dry conditions but tolerates poor soil and exposed sites.
