Formerly known as Cimicifuga 'Black Negligee'. A choice late-season perennial. One of the darkest-leaved selections to date with the black or very dark foliage which maybe green when young. Bottlebrush-like pink-tinged white, scented flowers. Aug-Oct. H120cm S60cm.

Grow in sun or semi-shade and reliably moist, humus-rich soil. Tough but may be slow to establish.
