Achillea millefolium 'Red Velvet'

Common Name: 'Yarrow'

A clump-forming perennial with mounds of aromatic fern-like leaves and heads of rose-red flowers that retain their colour as they age. Jun-Aug. H60cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in an open sunny position in a moist but well-drained soil, but it will tolerate most situations apart from heavy, wet clay in winter. Looks good grown with other sun-loving perennials such as salvias and nepetas and grasses. Loved by butterflies, bees and hoverflies.
