Phlomis fruticosa

Common Name: 'Jerusalem sage'

AGM. Whorls of hooded, deep yellow flowers are produced on an attractive, short-growing, evergreen shrub with felty grey-green leaves. Jun-Aug. H100cm S120cm.

Care Instructions

Easy to grow in any well-drained fertile soil in full sun. It can be slightly tender in colder areas and may benefit from the protection of a house wall or other warm, sheltered spot. Good planted with Euphorbia characias subsp. wulfenii.
