Common Name: 'Beard tongue'

A bushy perennial with small white, pink-tinged, bell-shaped flowers held in loose heads above foliage which is deep maroon-red when young and fades greener. Jun-Oct. H75cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil and should be cut back in late spring. Dislikes waterlogging and may need winter protection in cold areas (a dry mulch is best). Loved by bees.
